We welcome you to the Punxsutawney Country Club, and appreciate your membership or interest in our membership. We hope that the following information will give you a general insight into the many positive aspects that we feel our club has to offer. With our challenging 18-hole Golf Course, new Clubhouse, great food, and a welcoming membership, we are confident that your look into our Club as a new member will be an inviting one. General Club Information
18 Hole Golf Course…
Offering golfers of every level a challenge, our course provides fairness off the tee, yet difficulty around our fast, undulating greens. (For course specifications, please see scorecard in Pro Shop.) Tournament play is offered throughout the entire golfing season, with events including Scrambles, Match play, Medal Play, Holiday Tournaments, Member-Member / Member-Guest, as well as our Club Championship to name a few. Tee times are available throughout the week, and are usually very accommodating. Practice areas include a putting /chipping green, as well as a range. Golf carts and cart storage are readily available. (please see Membership and Cart Information)
Our Modern Clubhouse…
Newly opened in 2000, our Clubhouse offers its members many features. Our spacious Dining Room provides for comfortable eating, as well as offers a wide variety of Dinner, Lunch, and Breakfast menus. Indoor and outdoor dining is available, all with a great view of our 18 hole Golf Course. Our Dining area is also built to accommodate various functions, such as Weddings, Class Reunions, and Parties. Dining Room hours for the summer months are as follows:
Dinners - Tuesday to Friday (See social calendar for times)
Lunches - Tuesday to Sunday (See social calendar for times)
Breakfast - Sunday (See social calendar for times)
Our Clubhouse is also equipped with full Men and Woman’s locker room, golf bag storage, (golf cart storage also available) and a new, fully-stocked Pro Shop for all your golfing needs.
Our PGA Professional And Pro Shop…
We are very pleased to have Craig Mankins, as our PGA Professional for 2005. Craig was the Assistant Pro at the Indiana Country Club for 4 years prior to coming to the PCC. As well as being an accomplished player (All-American, IUP), Craig has great teaching, retail, and Pro Shop management experience. We think that you will find him extremely personable, and very qualified. Craig will be available for lessons to help improve every aspect of your game, as well as providing a full Pro Shop offering for all of your golfing needs. This can include apparel, equipment, bag storage, rental carts, as well as snacks and drinks for your round.
Pro Shop hours are from 8:00 a.m. to dusk during the golfing season (March 15th to November 30th).

Golf Carts…
The Punxsutawney Country Club is one of the only clubs that permit their members to own their own golf carts. Cart storage and usage fees are only $380.00 per year (can be paid annually or semi-annually).
Rental carts are also available in the Pro Shop at reasonable rates.
2005 Membership Promotions
As of October 31, 2003, we are offering the following promotion for new Golfing and Social memberships:
Social Memberships:
- Early Clubhouse privileges beginning Oct. 31st 2003 through 2005.
- Single and Married memberships available.
Golfing Memberships:
- Waived $400.00 initiation fee (until May 31st).
- Free spouse’s Social Membership
- Pay ½ dues now, and enjoy all golfing & Clubhouse privileges throughout the fall & winter months as well as the entire 2005 season.
- Reduced prices for “Under 30” Family and Golfing memberships.
Out of Town Memberships:
- Waived $400.00 initiation fee (until May 31st).
- Free spouse’s Social Membership.
- Must live & work outside a 20 air-mile radius.
